Each year, The St. Petersburg Bar Foundation grants funds in varying amounts to community nonprofit organizations that further our mission. In 2023, nearly $10,000 of grant money was awarded to community organizations. Grant applications open each year on April 1, are due by 5pm on April 30, and are awarded in early June.
Please be sure you have the following documents prepared for attachment to your application. They may be attached individually or, ideally, as one .pdf document:
1. One page executive summary of your organization’s goal(s) for this grant application, including what outcome(s) your organization hopes to achieve, and how you will spend the grant funds
2. Board of Directors/Trustees and staff roster for your organization
3. Financial statements for the last budget year for your organization
4. Current documentation reflecting tax status (IRS determination letter and Florida charitable solicitation license)
5. Project budget including a proposed schedule for distribution of grant funds
6. If you received a grant for 2023-24, submit a final financial and narrative report regarding the usage of grant funds if you have not already done so.
